The internet technology is improving since people invented the internet. People start to create communities for them that match their personal interest. In addition, they start to divide and separate themselves from reality, so they fabricated virtual communities. Virtual communities are ( definition). Such communities bring chance for people to express and share thoughts and interest with people that have the same tendency. Virtual and real communities have a lot in common, yet they have a lot of differences.  The most miraculous opportunity that virtual community affords to people is that people can be attaching to people in the other half of the earth by click. Moreover, time does not count in virtual community either the space, dissimilarity to real communities. Moreover, virtual communities offer for people multiple choices of communication they can communicate with chatting, images, and videos or audios which in real community people interact face to face. Although virtual community has a lot of advantage and more advanced technological ways to connect people, but also it has a lot of disadvantages and negative impact on them. In virtual community there is no validity and trust because people do not know the person who are chatting or communicating with them unlike the real communities which people know whom they are talking and interacting with. Besides that, people in virtual communities cooperate with people through their computers or technological devises which weaken people’s self-confidence and the bonds with people around them in the real world. The most disadvantage of virtual community is that it has no rules or bounders to hold or limit people’s behaviors which can be so harmful for children and teenagers because they have access almost for everything.

My own experience in Virtual Communities:

In my opining and according to my own experience I prefer the real community.



Virtual communities separate people from their own reality. For example, once I joined a virtual community called IMVE which people can choose they nick names, also people can create their own character and shape them the way they want. Besides that, the community IMVE was divided to rooms each room has people who share something in common. For example, I found a room for homosexual people, and for JAZZ lovers. Moreover, people could date, married, and make love on that community. In addition, they can build their own career, house and family. I think all these can result serious problems to people because people are becoming excessively attached to the perfect fake life they create, so they might refuse their real life.
